What is Potassium Carbonate ?

Potassium carbonate (molecular formula: K2CO3), also known as potash or pearl ash. Used in the production of fertilizer, glass, ceramics, explosives, soaps, chemicals, and wool treatments.
It can be used as a leavening agent in food; it can also be used in glass, printing and dyeing, soap, enamel, preparation of potassium salt, decarbonylation of synthetic ammonia, and also used in color TV industry, etc.
