What is BTMS ?

BTMS(Behentrimonium Methosulfate) is known as Docosyltrimethylammonium methyl sulphate, Behenyl Trimethyl Ammonium Methosulfate, and widely used in cosmetics and personal care products and perfumes & fragrances. 
Its functions include moisturizing, cleansing, conditioning, softening, suspending and emulsifying. Has excellent anti-tangle properties on hair and does not build up on hair. It is by far one of the mildest anti-tangle ingredients. Mainly used in conditioners, shampoos and other products.
